This DaVinci Richmond 4-in-1 Crib in Espresso provides a uniquely designed, strongly built, and always safe sleeping experience for your little loved one. The crib features a stationary drop side that provides the ultimate in safety and makes it easy to access your precious baby. The three position mattress support provides everlasting convenience and comfort so your baby will sleep soundly throughout the night. The crib comes with a handy two compartment under-crib drawer, perfect for storing your additional crib bedding, blankets and supplies.

The DaVinci Richmond crib converts into a toddler bed or loveseat and the sides convert into a full-sized headboard and footboard (bed frame and mattress not included) so it can grow with your child through the years. The DaVinci Richmond crib uses a standard size crib mattress (sold separately).

ANSWER: I purchased a few yards of feece to match our nursery decor. I cut the fleece to fold over the top rails of the crib and left enough to tie through some of the slats. by Sara L 11/4/2014

ANSWER: It just means that the front panel sits a little lower than the sides, so that it's easier to access the inside. You can kind of see it in the pic. We LOVE this crib. Have used it all the way through the Toddler half rail, and will turn it into a Full very soon. Hope this helps! by T L 6/11/2013
ANSWER: Hi Heather,<br /><br />That's marketingspeak for "the front is a little lower than the back so you don't crush your ribs bending over to pick up your child when the mattress platform is in its lowest position." <br /><br />We've had this crib for 2 years and have had no complaints. Use blue Loctite on the bolts if you can, it'll keep a bouncy toddler from loosening the bolts. Not necessary but it saves having to snug the fasteners a couple times a year. by W Y 6/11/2013
ANSWER: I'm not sure what they mean by a stationary drop side...but basically it's one or the other. It's either a crib, or an infant bed with the opening so the infant can get out of the crib. There is no drop side to it. It's a great bed. My baby is HUGE 98% for height and 75% for weight and he's always been that big. He's 15 months now and he still can't get out of the crib, and it's easy to get him in and out of it. It's very light weight, but durable. I love this crib, and I did TONS of research. My cousin got a crib that was SUPER expensive and solid wood. It weighed a TON, and it was so hard to get the baby in and out of. we ordered this crib without having seen it in the store. but other cribs with a storage drawer seemed flimsy. this cribs storage drawer is on gliders attatched to the crib. also the assembly was pretty easy. after it is put together, it is very sturdy. i love this crib and cant wait to use it for our first born son who is due in july.

I LOVE the color of this crib in person! It's really, really nice. Assembly on the other hand wasn't so easy. We finally got it, but it took a while. I also wish that it came with little covers that would cover the screws in the front. I'm going to have my husband cover them somehow. The other thing to note is if you have your heart set on having a crib skirt, this might not be the crib for you because
