ANSWER: Hi, There was a mattress that was sold along with the crib. It fits perfectly- but you can use any standard crib mattress- it is not a special custom size at all. I have been using standard mattress covers and crib sheets and they fit very well. The pad that comes with the crib for the changing table is much smaller than standard changing table pads, however. I have been using twin size pillow cases or receiving blankets tucked around the pad rather than bothering with standard changing pad covers, which would be too big. ANSWER: Yes it can be raised and lowered. We had it on the highest when he was first born, and lowered it once and then as soon as he could pull himself to standing we lowered it all the way down. by K A 1/21/2013

ANSWER: No, it cannot be raised and lowered. I was a little disappointed because it didn't mention that the mattress was going to be one height. My solution I bought a mattress for 30 dollars at Walmart to put under the better mattress. I love the bed and all the drawers and the shelves on the side. by melanie p 1/1/2013

ANSWER: It fits a 27.5" x 15.5" x 1 It took me forever to find that size and i would recommend something a little thicker if you could find it. A 1 inch pad is very thin. by melanie p 1/1/2013

ANSWER: Hi. I ordered the changing pad that specifically fits to the crib, made by AFG. It is a flat foam pad covered in plastic and measures about 15x26 inches. Most changing pad covers do not fit it- it is smaller than the standard size. I have been using receiving blankets tucked around it, or bassinet sheets. ANSWER: This bed only has one height for the mattress. I thought the mattress was too low so I bought a cheap one to go under the good mattress. I do use the bedskirt but I fold it in half and put on top of the bottom mattress because only one side shows when the bed is against the wall. by melanie p 1/1/2013

I LOVE THIS CRIB! We purchased this crib for our first baby. I wanted a combo one since our nursery is so small. It fits perfectly in baby's room and looks amazing! I added some green glass knobs and it really gives it a custom/Pottery Barn look. It has lots of storage and I love how I can change a diaper from the side or at the feet. I put the wipes/lotion/diapers in the top drawer and it makes everything so accessible! The crib was a great price too. Two downsides that I found - the changing table is rather small, my son is just about too big for it now at 4 1/2 months...and, the height of the mattress is not adjustable so it's very very low right from the start. Not a big deal but hard to reach into especially when first using. I would buy this crib again!

As a grandparent, this crib provided a fantastic solution to changing table and crib. It looks great and will last through her toddler visits. Great buy!
