QUESTION: Is this tree book shelf free standing or does it attach to the wall and if so how does it attach? by Mary M 9/20/2014
ANSWER: It definitely needs to be attached to the wall. It will fall to the side if it is free standing. I used the anchors sent to attach it to the wall but I am unhappy with how it attaches because I have a baseboard. I'm still looking into a better way to mount it. So for now, I have it mounted with the mounting accessories that came with the bookshelf. by Emily O 9/28/2014

ANSWER: It attaches to the wall at 2 points. You need the drywall plugs and screws. There are metal brackets that attach at the back of the 2 lowest branches. by Maggie W 9/24/2014
