Four stationary rails feature wide slats allowing viewing of baby from any direction with the tall back rail creating a beautiful forever centerpiece for the room. The finish in Dark Java is a multi-step non-toxic process that adds richness to the elegant design. The Brook crib offers maximum versatility with conversions from crib to toddler bed, daybed and full-size bed. Crib safety includes a 4 level mattress spring system that allows easy adjustment of the mattress as baby grows. When baby has grown out of the crib, the toddler guard rail included makes an easy transition to toddler bed. Remove the guard rail for your child's daybed phase and begin moving the mattress back up. All adjustments and conversion with the Brook Crib are safe and easy. The final transition to enjoy is to full size bed with gorgeous rails as headboard and footboard. Full size bed rail kit (M5789) sold separately. Made of New Zealand Pine from sustainable forests. We had to buy 2 since we are having twins. Very nice that is was on sale compared to every where else. Also liked that it got delivered pretty quick. The downfall or why it didn't get 5 stars is because there are pieces that got damaged.
