QUESTION: Can you use the dresser as a change table? Is it too high? by Christina B 8/16/2012

ANSWER: I'm 5'9 and I think it's too high, but everyone has their own preference, so just take the measured height of the dresser (40 3/4") and mark and on the wall and try and imagine if it would be easy or hard for you to change a baby. All the best! by O U 8/19/2012

ANSWER: Yes, it is too high for that. It's slippery on top (glossy finish), so if you do it, you'd have to make sure you stick the changing pad onto it.<br /><br />I've always just changed my baby on the floor with a waterproof blanket underneath him. That maybe an idea for you so that you don't have to buy an extra piece of furniture. by O U 8/19/2012

ANSWER: I'm 5'5 and the top of the dresser hits a few inches above my belly button. It could be used as a changing table but the changing pad I have would take the entire top so there wouldn't be any extra room. Also, I think it would be easier to use when the baby is smaller and lighter. I personally would have a hard time lifting my 2 year old that high for a diaper change. My 6'1 hubby would have no problems. by D A 8/19/2012

The crib is nice and sturdy and looks good. It did come with a scratch on it though. We decided to keep it anyway because it's the side we have against the wall and we didn't want to be bothered with the whole return deal. The dresser, on the other hand, is horrible. I would not recommend that anyone buy this dresser. It came with a broken piece that we had to superglue back together and the drawers do not fit in there properly so it's difficult to slide them open and closed. The directions also fail to tell you the proper way to attach the front drawer panels and it wasn't until I called the company that they told me the right way to do so. The dresser looks ok, but for function purposes it gets an F for me.
