COMMENT: To match the DaVinci crib by Rebecca M 10/19/2015

QUESTION: I'd really like to purchase this dresser, but I have three concerns. First--I see different measurements all over the internet. How high is it? Second--are the backs of the drawers low--as in, is it easy for the clothes to fall out? And third--when I see a side view, it sometimes looks very different than the front of the dresser--which has a beautiful grain. The side looks as if it could appear cheap and plastic looking. ANSWER: Not sure on the height, but I'm 5'3" and it's about chest height. The backs off the drawers are high. I've never had any problem with clothes falling out and we have the same dresser (in cherry) for our three year old. As for the sides of the dresser, they are the same grain and material as the front of the dresser, but the grain runs vertical. Hope this helps. by E P 8/10/2012

ANSWER: Overall I have been happy with this dresser. My dresser stands about 46 inches. As for the drawers, the back and side panels are about 2 inches lower than the front of the drawer. I have never had any issues with clothes getting stuck or falling out. I even use the bottom drawer to store blankets and have plenty of room. The finish on the sides of the dresser matches the front of the dresser perfectly. Keep in mind that the back of the dresser is just a thick cardboard panel. I find this to be the only thing that looks cheap, but with it up against the wall you can't see it, so it works for me. Hope this helps- good luck! by Sarah V 8/10/2012

ANSWER: It does look great.... mine is still holding together after 2 years, but the screws that holds the front of the drawer to the sides are VERY cheap. In fact, I need to go to Home Depot right now to buy sturdier ones. I have to say that with all of the pulling and slamming that it is going through right now, that it seems to be doing ok.<br /><br />The height is pretty true at 46" ... and the drawers in the back are not short, meaning your clothes will not fall out. I bought this dresser and matching crib for my second daughter. I was disappointed in the quality. The drawer fronts have detached from the dresser several times and it over all feels cheap to me. If you can afford to spend a little more, do so and get a better dresser. The crib has worked out well and I like it because it had never had a recall and was recommended by consumer reports.

After looking for a matching dresser for my daughter's DaVinci Parker crib I found this site and decided to take them up on their low prices. I was very impressed at the delivery time. I think we received the dresser in 3 days, which really helps when you are nesting and want to make sure that everything is in place for the baby to arrive. Everything was in great condition when the box was opened. Assembly was easy and even my almost three year old helped. The one thing I thought I would not be happy with is that there were only 4 drawers but there is a good deal of room in each one. The only thing I don't like is that the drawers do not sit flush with the dresser front and even more so because I had to put felt spots on so the drawers didn't slam closed. Overall, it is a beautiful dresser and I will see how it holds up after I use it on a daily basis when the baby is born.

I love this dresser. The drawers are very deep and spacious. They slide out very easily. This took my husband awhile to put together as there are 200+ screws but the outcome was worth it. I also purchased the crib and changing table. The 3 pieces look lovely in the nursery.
