It is precisely four beds - a crib, a toddler bed, a daybed and a full-size bed. The crib has safety fixed rails and a mattress that goes up and down on a support system with three positions. Baby grows taller and the mattress goes down lower for safety. Baby will not even notice the absence of the crib when it is converted to a toddler bed because that is a happy time for everyone! It's even more exciting when the toddler bed safety rail is not needed and the bed is converted to a daybed.
