QUESTION: The picture looks like a medium brown color. I am trying to match true "espresso" colored' crib which is a very dark brown. Is this product mis-named espresso? Or is the picture wrong? by None N 8/8/2013

ANSWER: It's a little darker than it looks in the picture, but I would not say it's that "black coffee" shade of brown that espresso is typically. I bought an espresso glider after I bought this furniture, and it is definitely a darker shade of brown. I will say that I bought three pieces from this manufacturer, and everything labeled espresso is consistent. But if your crib is not DaVinci, my guess is that the bookcase will be too light for a true match. Hope this helps. by Anne-Marie S 8/13/2013
