ANSWER: We chose this crib for the same reason. It's great looking and simple. It's also very solid. You can leave off the wheels. We did, too. by David F 9/5/2012

I purchased the crib and changer for my first baby due very soon! My husband and brother put it together with no trouble at all and it is quite sturdy and absolutely beautiful. I got it in white and it looks vintage and fits the light decor of my nursery very well.
