My husband and I set the crib up together and found it pretty simple. There are a lot of pieces but the directions were simple to read. If we didn't know what piece we were looking for, glancing at the front of the instruction manual, where all the pieces are identified, made it easy enough. We did keep a ruler handy to make sure we were using the correct screws.
The crib had a few imperfections when we pulled it out of the box and started assembling, one of the metal gliders for the drawers (these are already attached) was only attached by one screw, the other two were present, but not holding it in place. It was easy enough to just unscrew the screws and put the pieces back where they should be. Another issue we found with the drawer gliders was that two chunks of wood were cracked off where the gliders attached. I glued them back in place and we added an extra screw because it felt a bit wobbly. These issues were all on one piece and a quick fix, not ideal but not really a huge issue either.
Once the bed was assembled we are very happy and it looks great. It is very sturdy and the drawers move easily. Just a few more months until we get to use it now.
