ANSWER: Darlene,<br />Yes, the mattress level in the crib adjusts. I believe there are four levels. We started out on the highest and time flies... the mattress is at the lowest setting now! The adjusting is pretty simple. We have had our crib for over a year and a half now and it was a great purchase. We are very happy and hope that you enjoy it too! By the way, the crib comes with the toddler railing for when you change the crib to the toddler bed. It doesn't come with the rails for converting to a full size bed. This crib has everything I need. I like how safe it seems, the color is great for my son's nursery and it has all the features I could want. It converts to a toddler bed and a double bed too so I am very happy with it and also happy with this site.
