Just add a full size mattress and your child will have a beautiful bigger bed that still goes wonderfully in the bedroom. These rails are made with solid wood to remain sturdy and match the crib's solid build. Use this kit with the Emily, Emily Mini, Valerie and Kalani Convertible Cribs that are finished in a pretty Cherry.

ANSWER: I haven't tried to assemble the crib into the bed format, but I believe you will use the same bolts that attach the crib side and front rails to do so. The toddler rail is designed to attach using the existing bolts when converting from a crib to a toddler bed. by T R 6/22/2012
