QUESTION: How many matresses does this use. In the picture it looks like two but its not saying anywhere? by Don V 4/20/2013
ANSWER: We have bought and used one Naturepedic (Organic)Mattress. This is a lifetime crib so it is adjustable (4 heights). There is a high setting for a young baby and then 3 other lower settings for a baby who is crawling, sitting, teething, standing/walking so they can be safe while exploring their new motor skills. I hope this helps and we LOVE our crib!

Sorry if this is a duplicate: I'm having computer issues. by Robin C 4/25/2013
ANSWER: I only used one crib mattress. I think the bumper may be what looks like the second mattress. I love this set and have it set up as a toddler bed right now. Hope that this helps. by D R 4/25/2013
ANSWER: Just one, you are looking at the bumper above it and the bed skirt below it. by L I 4/23/2013
ANSWER: One matress is enough, you are able to move it up or down as your child grow. I bought the matress in this same page. by C A 4/23/2013
ANSWER: Only one. I think what you see is the mattress with the mattress curtain underneath it. The bed was quite good. Very good wood. But, once the child is a toddler, because of the jumping and activity from the child's movement, just keep an eye on the bolts. They would need to be tightened. Overall, we feel it's an excellent bed with a non-toxic finish. We loved that it had 2 separate heights for infant and when the baby could pull himself up (lower height). And, we loved the toddler conversion for when we couldn't keep the child inside the crib anymore due to climbing out. by M R 4/22/2013

ANSWER: It uses one mattress. You can adjust the height of the mattress, so before they sit up on their own you can have it on the highest setting. by A J 4/22/2013
ANSWER: It uses one mattress. I think you may see the crib bumper and the mattress in the picture, but I am not sure. I hope this helped. We had to buy the mattress separately so check that out. by E F 4/22/2013
ANSWER: It's just one.... The only other thing there is the bumper and skirt hanging from underneath the mattress by S A 4/22/2013
ANSWER: Just one crib mattress. by Becki D 4/22/2013
ANSWER: Just one mattress but you will want to get the mattress support board that is about 2 inches thick and lays underneath the mattress... you can find them where ever you purchase the mattress most likely... and just so you know the finish scratches rather easily (the baby has left teeth marks on the railing already) so I will most likely be painting the crib at some point down the road... no way it'll hold up 18 years like it's supposed to LOL by J S 4/22/2013
ANSWER: We only use one mattress in ours- it moves to different levels as the baby grows so maybe the picture shows it at the highest level? We don't have a bed skirt on ours either. by Sheila W 4/22/2013
ANSWER: It only requires 1 mattress. This crib has 3 different heights to lower or raise the springs as your child grows, so that it isn't as easy to climb over the railing. by J K 4/22/2013
ANSWER: Just one, the top layer in pic looks like a bumper. by D E 4/22/2013
